I’m Kerry Sexton. I sell commercial trucking insurance at CoVerica Insurance & Risk Management in Lewisville, Texas. Before that I ran my own brokerage. Before that I was a Sachse PD officer, a Navy Hospital Corpsman, and a 911 dispatcher.

Producer Briefs exists because I got tired of walking into prospect calls with whatever ZoomInfo, CAB, and Google would surface in an hour of unstructured searching. The information I needed for a sourced first call — FMCSA SAFER history, state Secretary of State filings, OSHA establishment records, county property and tax records, PACER litigation — was all in public record, but assembling it across sources was its own job. The brief is what I wished existed for my own prospects.

Producer Briefs is a side business. It is architecturally separated from my CoVerica book. The production agent that researches and assembles the brief has no access to CoVerica systems or CoVerica client data; the brief you receive cannot be contaminated by data lineage that touches another producer’s book.

The brief is not a coverage recommendation. It is not a pricing indication. It is not a pitch script. It is sourced research, cited line by line. Public record verified at time of research. You bring the producer judgment; the brief brings the facts.
